Jon A. Henderson entered the life insurance business in 1979, upon graduation from Northwestern University. After five years in sales, he became a District Manager, responsible for recruiting, training, and sales development for MassMutual. In 1990, he became the General Agent for the Peoria Agency. He has been responsible for the field sales operations, which include training, new business, compliance, and management of approximately 50 sales associates and 15 staff members. Jon came to Pittsburgh in 1998 to become the General Agent for MassMutual's Pittsburgh office.
In 2002, Jon formed and became President of Financial Designs, Inc., to facilitate financial planning by registered representatives of MML Investors Services, Inc. (MMLISI) who are affiliated with the MMLISI Registered Investment Advisor.
In 1982, Jon earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation, followed by the Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1984 and his Masters in Financial Services in 1986 from the American College.
