Mark came to us shortly after celebrating his 15th anniversary with Guardian in January 2008 where Mark served as an Associate GA (AGA) and Senior Vice President. He traveled throughout the agency’s four state territory indoctrinating new salespeople and agencies into the culture and systems. Mark is a former (first ever) student board member of the Cleveland SFSP (Society of Financial Service Professionals). Mark’s proudest industry moment was in 2005, when, along with fellow GAs and AGAs he was a recipient of GAMA’s Best-In-Class award. Despite this recognition, Mark feels that his greatest compliment came when a client of his, a Catholic Priest, suggested that while the Priesthood offered on the opportunity to minister to people’s souls and spiritual lives, Mark had been called to help minister to people’s financial lives and that has been his passion ever since.
Mark holds multiple registrations and licenses including his FINRA (formerly the NASD) Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination) registrations. Mark has been blessed to spend a majority of his career working primarily with business owners, high net worth individuals and other professionals. He prides himself on his ability to listen to people’s needs objectives and concerns and then translate those into a workable plan of action. He firmly believes in a team approach to working with his and other advisor’s clients.
After spending 7 wonderful years living in the Cleveland area, Mark and his family returned to the Pittsburgh area in July of 2007. Mark is a 1986 graduate of Penn State, enjoys golf, tennis and reading. He sings in the adult choir and is a lector at St. Benedict the Abbott in Peters Township. He strives to balance professional life with personal life so he can spend as much quality time with his family as possible. Mark currently resides in Venetia with his wife Robin, two daughters Elizabeth (Liz 15) and Kathryn (Kat 10) and Lucy the Shih-Tzu.
